   These lyrics are just comforting. We have an assurance we cannot get away from God's love. We usually think about Jonah trying to run away from God, and from that, not only do we get knowledge that it's impossible to run away from God, but it's also impossible to run away from God's love or do anything that would stop God from loving us. God will never stop loving us, no matter how far we run. Some people don't think they are worthy of God's love, but the truth is, even though none of us should be going to heaven, God still loves us and continues to love us when we fall and when He helps us back up.

Here's the last verse:

"In my joy
In my pain
You're right beside me
In Your arms
There's always hope"

   It's also comforting to know God is always there with us and for us based on circumstances. When life is hard, God is always right there with us. The first thing we do may be to ask God why He hasn't calmed the storm, but God has never promised to calm all storms we have. He never promised life would be easy. But He does promise us if He doesn't calm the storms in our lives, He will always ride them with us. He'll never leave us.
